Geometry of the deconstructed circle
The day I took the picture above, I saw a very large, cigar-shaped UFO flying just south of New Radnor. The UFO, or, 'saucer' was approximately 75 to 100 feet long and about 10 to 15 feet high - with a shape like a big joint or a thin coathanger, or maybe one of the Circl Works (the ongoing series of white relief construction by Graham Housego that set out to explore the geometry of the de-constructed circle). It looked like a toilet lid viewed edge-on sideways if you bend right down. It was grey in colour; a lighter shade on top with some red in it and a darker shade on the bottom with some blue or green in it. No control mechanism was visible and there were no levers. No fins or scales of any kind. It flew slowly into the direction of the (now sadly defunct) Eagle pub, and never reappeared; despite my having waited 15 minutes for them to open.
I never had no chance to photograph it.
